Recycling

Recycling is everybody’s responsibility. If you live in Angelina County there are a number of ways for you to help be a good steward of this environment.

If you live in Lufkin – use the blue recycling bins. If you do not have a bin and would like to order one, contact the Regional Recycling Center at 936-633-0281.

If you live outside the city limits of Lufkin, please look at the following schedule to use the Regional Recycling Center’s Alley Cat (recycling trailer).

CENTRAL – The first Tuesday of each month at Huntington State Bank on U.S. Highway 69 north.
HUDSON – Every first Thursday at Hudson City Hall on Mt. Carmel Road.
SAN AUGUSTINE – The first weekend of each month at the San Augustine County Courthouse square.
HUNTINGTON – Every second Wednesday at a lot at the intersection of U.S. Highway 69 south and Main Street.
PINELAND – The second weekend of each month at the West Sabine ISD bus barn.
WOODVILLE – Every third Wednesday at the Woodville Intermediate school campus, off U.S. Highway 69 south.
JASPER – The third weekend of each month at the intersection of Wheeler and Pollard, across from the car wash.
HEMPHILL – Every fourth Wednesday at the Brookshire Brothers parking lot.
NEWTON – The fourth weekend of each month just off the old courthouse square
