Angelina Beautiful / Clean and the Texas Forest Service will be giving away tree seedlings at the Lufkin Mall parking lot near the loop on Wednesday February 7^th beginning at 9:00 a.m.  The seedling varieties for the 2007 give-a-way are:  Black Walnut, Burr Oak, Live Oak, Nuttall Oak, Overcup Oak, Pecan, Sawtooth Oak, Shumard Oak, and the Southern Red Oak.  These seedlings are available to everybody on a first-come, first-serve basis while the supplies last.

According to Tony Moline, AB/C Executive Director, "This is a wonderful way to celebrate Arbor Day.  The Texas Forest Service provides us with these seedlings, they sprinkle the root treatment on them, and all you have to do is dig a hole and put the seedling in it.  It is quite easy to do and it also helps beautify the landscape at no cost to the consumer."
