The Texas Department of Transportation and Angelina Beautiful/Clean are gearing up for the annual "Don't Mess with Texas" Trash-Off.  Volunteers will soon be out in full force all across the state of Texas picking up litter along our highways.

Each community including Diboll, Homer/Bald Hill, Hudson, Huntington, and Lufkin will hold a trash-off and will award the most active participants their share of almost $2,000 in prize money provided by Angelina Beautiful/Clean.  According to Tony Moline, Executive Director of Angelina Beautiful/Clean, "things are coming together for this year's event nicely.  It is not too late to register yourself or a group to be eligible for the prize money!"

AB/C will host a cookout sponsored by Brookshire Brothers and give out door prizes, provided by Mercer Honda, at the Chamber of Commerce following the event.
