Keep Lufkin Beautful Recognized at the Keep Texas Beautiful Conference


2010 Governors Award

Keep Lufkin Beautiful was recognized at the 43rd Annual Keep Texas Beautiful Conference. Keep Lufkin Beautiful won 2nd Place in the Governor’s Community Achievement Award. The Governor's Community Achievement Awards are presented each year to an array of Texas communities with the best grassroots environmental programs in the state. Communities are judged based on their population size, which is derived from population estimates from the Texas State Data Center.

Keep Lufkin Beautiful also received a Gold Star Affiliate Status from Keep Texas Beautiful.
