The Fall Sweep County Wide Clean-up had over 375 volunteers help clean the streets, highways, and waterways in Angelina County. More than 11,000 pounds of trash has been collected by volunteers in Lufkin, Diboll, Huntington, Central, Hudson, Homer/Bald Hill, and Zavalla.

Angelina Beautiful/Clean would like to say a special thanks to Brookshire Brothers for providing lunch and drinks for the volunteers after the cleanup. The event was a huge success and received great feedback from the community. Each group/organization competes for prize money during the sweep and is determined by the number of volunteers. The Fall Sweep is one of the two large county wide clean-up events for Angelina Beautiful/Clean.
