Temple Foundation is recognized for achievement in helping to beautify Angelina County by landscaping, building improvement, architectural design, new construction or other means which enhances the beauty of our part of Texas.

The Angelina County Extension Office has been named Angelina Beautiful/Clean May Beautification Winner. The Angelina County Extension Office is recognized for achievement in helping to beautify Angelina County by landscaping, building improvement, architectural design, new construction or other means which enhances the beauty of our part of Texas.

Angelina County Extension staff and some of its volunteer Master Gardeners are standing in front of the Earth Kind Rose Trials at the AgriLife Extension office at 2201 S. Medford Dr. The trials were part of a nationwide effort to see which roses did best without the benefit of fertilizer, continued watering, or any pest control measures. This trial site wrapped up in December of 2009 and is now kept up by Marlow Shubert. Martha Hernandez, AB/C Board Member presents the award to Count Extension Agent Cary Sims.
