Angelina Beautiful/Clean participates in many different parts of the community. In order to best serve the citizens of Angelina County, we have designed committees to accomplish certain goals. Below is a brief description of each committee and the Chairman of that committee.
Governance Committee (Committee Chair – Valena Spradley)
This committee is charged with assessing the overall board performance and evaluating the needs of the board including, but not limited to, recruitment of new members, assessment and action on existing members, and nominations for officers.
Budget & Finance Committee (Committee Chair – Chris Fitzgerald)
This committee is charged with developing the preliminary budget and long range financial plans for Angelina Beautiful/Clean.
Beautification Committee (Committee Chair – Kerry Little)
This committee develops projects that will add lasting beauty to Angelina County.
Recycling Committee (Committee Chair – Tara Watson)
This committee organizes programs that educate citizens on proper solid waste disposal and recycling.
Cleanup / Law Enforcement Committee (Committee Chair – Mcxie Hurst)
This committee helps plan and organize cleanup events in Angelina County, and helps conduct the law enforcement training on illegal dumping.
Fund Raising Committee (Committee Chair – Geno Carrier)
This committee develops the fund raising campaign for the current fiscal year and works on long term fund raising goals.
